YardSpirit® is an apparel company that was created to assist you in connecting with your roots and culture. The founders are from the Caribbean ("Yard") and reside in the USA. Growing up in the USA, it was and is difficult to find quality apparel that represents our Caribbean culture and also celebrates our ancestral ties to Africa.
That is why we created YardSpirit. We wanted a merchandise that symbolizes our energetic vibe "Spirit", and that also connects us back to Yard.
The YardSpirit Lion® symbolizes having courage, being bold and showing pride.
YardSpirit® also uses the Adinkra Symbols of West Africa to educate our visitors of our collective African heritage.
